How to keep your wealth

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

One of the problems associated with most Americans is their wealth is being lost. They have lost it in regards to the dollar value being lost and going down. They are experiencing in the less work being needed.  And they are losing it in the equity of their houses.

As a San Diego painting contractors I would like to examine how to perserve your wealth in regards to your home.

During these past few years a lot of people made thousands upon thousands in their equity.  In some places like California this rise in equity fueled the economy as many people spent their equity like an ATM.

Well with the housing market bursting, it has caused a lot of wealth to be lost. For a lot of people who had counted on that equity in their homes, it is all gone now.For a lot of people their equity is still being lost today.

So what is there to do to try and keep that equity.  Well there is a quick way.  That is to hire painters San Diego company.

Now you must be wondering how can that keep my equity?Well by keeping your home in top market condition you will have the opportunity to sell your home at the highest prices.

If you have attempted to put your house on the market and sell in this economy you understand what I am referring to.The homes that are sold quickly are the best looking ones on the market.  The ones that look like they have been kept up.By doing some home improvements around the house like painting you will be able to reach that goal.

A painted house that you do can make your home look brand new.A beautifully done outside paint job can make your home look brand new and the best one on the street. And when all the people are fighting for the few buyers out there, you want any edge.

So next time you are looking for a way to save your wealth, look no further than a paint job.  You will be surprised what hiring a quality painter can do.  I should know from my experience as a painter in San Diego.

Save Time and Money When Picking a Painting Contractor

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

To most families, their home is an integral part of their lives. No only the day to day living in it, but also family times goes on there as well as those leisure times.

Well, when you do find it is time to start some work on your house, such as painting, this can be a stressful time and a disruptive time in their lives.

With that being the case, I would like to offer some advice on choosing the right painting contractor.  This advice comes from years working with homeowners and also running a San Diego painting company myself.

Now at first, picking the right painting contractor doesn’t see like it should be difficult. But if you think about the fact that this work can cost thousands of dollars if not more, and also cause a major disruption in your daily life, and of course can either result in a beautiful job or a horrendous job. This is a very big decision.

So here are some tips from my experience as a painter San Diego.

First thing, you do want to start getting quotes from several different contractors. You are not doing this just to try and get a great price. You are doing this so you will be able to get to know the company that you will be working with.Of course when you do get a great price, that’s great, but don’t let that be your driving force.Remember, you want a great job to be done.

Second, you want to know if they have any guarantees to their work.  See if the company has a strong guarantee to your satisfaction. This shows you how confident they are in the work they can do for you.

Third, you want to know how quickly they can start.  Also, you will want to get a feel on how quickly they feel they can get it done.  When you are going to cause a disruption like painting your house.  You will want to know
how fast they feel they can get things back in order.

Finally, make sure to get some testimonials from previous customers.  Contact them and see what they felt of the company.See how well they did the job, if they did it on time, and if they are a good company to work with.

Do these steps and you can ensure yourself with as little stress as possible during these very stressful times.  Take it from my years of painting San Diego, doing these few steps will help you greatly.
